We live in an age dominated and surrounded by machines and networks;
Advanced technology, ubiquitous wireless network and endless product webpages make us fall into the whirlpool of desire. We constantly pursue the stimulation brought by the material world. It seems impossible for us to stop to feel the gift of nature: the beauty of life.
Cyber Ikebana is a work about the beauty of the natural world and the aesthetics of Ikebana art, by elevating subtle changes in flowers and amplifying the weak signals from non-human-centric perspective. The final setup was rendered with man-made materials, in order to evoke our reflections on the human epoch.
